THE OLD "DOGANA"
The "old Dogana" dates back to the year 1720.
From 1859 to 1866 it was used as an austrian barracks, and did work as customs house in a border locality which was strictly controlled : still nowadays it has got the little tower from which the imperial police used to control the border traffic.
Then the noble Family Vergine transformed it in a summer residence, changing in that way the original destination, but working with big modesty and always rispecting the past.

After being requisitioned by the military authorities during the first and the second World Wars, from 1958 it began a new tradition of inn. Successive restorations did transform this historical building in a Restaurant.
